Laurelhurst Provincial

Project Overview

This French Provincial home in Laurelhurst reflects the thoughtful continuation of a decades-long evolution. Rather than starting over, the new owners chose a comprehensive renovation that refreshed nearly every space while preserving the character and craftsmanship that first drew them in.

The scope included basement and laundry upgrades, custom living room casework and lighting, and a full kitchen reconfiguration with structural modifications. The redesigned kitchen features walnut cabinetry and quartzite countertops, creating a warm, functional space for everyday living. Original plaster walls were preserved using hand-troweled plaster throughout, allowing new work to blend seamlessly with the home’s historic character

In the primary suite, vaulted ceilings and a reworked layout improved flow and comfort, while a custom nursery and hand-painted murals added thoughtful, personal touches. The result is a home that feels both refreshed and rooted—honoring its past while thoughtfully adapted for modern living.
