Issaquah Highlands Contemporary
Project Overview
Stained rift white oak cabinets wrap around this award-winning Issaquah Highlands kitchen and house a built-in Sub-zero fridge. The kitchen’s contemporary feel is highlighted by the contrast of its preserved and refinished maple floors, quartz countertops, and use of under-cabinet LED lighting. Additional cabinets continue to wrap around a framed wall newly built for the inclusion of a small desk area. The island in the center of the kitchen not only provides ample seating and plenty of space, with its angled quartz countertop, but also is the home to some expertly placed features. A handy prep sink sits atop the counter, while the unit conceals a built-in touch controlled microwave below.
These beautiful white cabinets were locally crafted in Maple Valley from Luxe high gloss finish panels produced in Spain. They have touch latches and no visible hardware. A painted glass backsplash and new Wolf stove sit just beneath.
Directly off of the kitchen is a family room with a custom-built floating entertainment center. Complete with built-in Luxe cabinets and LED strip lighting, it also is touch controlled and has no visible hardware.
